Love Using Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. It is so easy to do not only mine and my spouse's taxes, but also our son's taxes. I rarely have to do much research. It is all there.
What's great about it: Importing the prior year to remind me of what I need helps so much!
What's not so great: I love it all. Of course, it would be perfect if state was free, too.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy to Use

Overall Turbo Tax is fantastic. Sometimes in the error check when the errors are show and a fix is needed it is difficult to understand what the needed fix is and exactly how to enter it. But I have always eventually been able to get where I need and to fix the problems.
What's great about it: Love the easy guides and wizard's, they really make tax returns easier. Help is great too.
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to get to a specific entry I want to make

very buggy--

errors disappeared when I ran first review that required an update of the sw--should have been asked if I wanted to update when I initially installed it.
had strange forms that were not needed that showed up ONLY in the efile version. was afraid to efile since could not control what was included.
editing entries was extremely difficult.
could not print the efile version even tho I checked that I was efiling--it was then that I decided not to efile at all.
Have used Turbo Tax in the past without any of these problems. This year was just an awful experience
What's not so great: odd things showed up--lots of red error marks that werent errors

I like how Turbo Tax walks you through the steps in the "answering questions" format. Sometimes, though, you have to go in and manually open certain areas of the questions...one would think that it would automatically take you through all the steps by itself. And at the end when you are about to file, it asks if you would like to print a copy to review. When you click on this, it takes you to the turbotax website like a help session. It tells you it will give you the option later. So when you go back, you are saying e-file now before you get this option. But you don't actually file at this time, it's just getting you closer to filing. Finally you get the option to print before you actual "send" the file. It's a little misleading.
What's great about it: Like the ease of answering questions and how it walks you through the entire process
What's not so great: Sometimes when walking through the steps, you have to manually "update" areas....
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and have found the program to be easy to use and understand. Completing the tax forms is a daunting exercise and this program simplifies the process. My only issue probably has more to do with me than the program. But I do have difficulty locating information after I have completed the process and am questioning myself as to what I typed. (For example, I am a minister but I get a W2 and have Social Security withheld so I am always thrown by the question of whether I received income as a minister and I always want to go back and check that section. It takes me some time to figure out how to get back to that specific question)
What's great about it: Easy to navigate; questions are clear
What's not so great: Difficult to determine how to get back to certain areas if you want to verify info after completion

Has some problems I would like to discuss

Has pages i would like to print but ,is not an option.
I can only mark the pages with a flag, but I would like to print them, but I can never GET any help from turbo tax.
Also when I apply my tax refund to next year Turbo tax comes up at the end and says someting stupid like "what tax planning you neither owe or get a refund" Plus many other thing that I would like to discuss with someone.

Gets easier every year!

I've been using TurboTax for so long I can't remember when I started. It is so easy and thorough. The system asks me questions about things I would never have even thought of. I know I'm getting the highest possible return.
What's great about it: It keeps track year after year so I don't have to reinvent the wheel each time.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
