Easy filing

Easy to use and understand the process. Filing fees for state return are getting expensive. uses up a good portion of the return itself just to file. May be looking into free state filing on the state website next year.
What's great about it: process for basic returns is easy to use
What's not so great: costs for filing state returns is getting expensive. May have to consider doing state returns on the state website.

State tax withheld error

YOU HAD THIS PROBLEM IN 2012 ALSO. WHEN I FILED MY TAXES WITH TURBOTAX IN 2011, THIS WAS NOT A PROBLEM.
THE PROBLEM IS STATE TAX WITHHELD CANNOT BE GREATER THAN STATE TAX WITHHELD FOR ONE 1099-R. I HAVE SEVERAL 1099-R STATEMENTS AND I WITHOLD STATE TAX FROM ONE OF THEM WHICH DOES NOT HAVE ANY STATE DISTRIBUTION. ALL MY TAX WITHHOLDING COMES FROM THESE NON STATE DISTRIBUTION ANNUITIES. I HAD TO MOVE THE STATE TAX WITHHELD TO MY PENSION 1099-R, WHICH IS ANOTHER ERROR, BUT WAS SOMEHOW ACCEPTED IN 2013. PLEASE CORRECT THIS ERROR IN YOUR SOFTWARE.

I am especially impressed with the successful financial downloads TurboTax executed from my stock trading web site. Excellent and helpful tool.

Step by Step Rocks

All in all, Turbo Tax rocked...One exception was that a couple of forms was not ready for import
What's great about it: Step by step allowed for me to take every deduction
What's not so great: Some of the forms were not ready...Had to keep going back to check before filing

Excellent product

I have used Turbo Tax for 6 years and have been very satisfied with its ease of use. This years version was not a disappointment. Importing income, and investments was a snap. It took less time to complete our taxes than I anticipated. Will certainly buy again
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate and use.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

How to get your taxes done FAST

As I was divorced last year I thought that the return would be simpler to prepare but I was NOT prepared to be done in 20 minutes or less. Turbo Tax, YOU ROCK!!
What's great about it: it was so easy, done with both returns in about 20 minutes!
What's not so great: Nothing!
