Never to late to go back!

Easy to use and fast. I had tried another tax prep disc last year, but find Turbo-Tax to be more user friendly and thorough. Will use again.
What's great about it: Went through everything well. Even things I would never have thought of!
What's not so great: Sometimes was a little un-clear on which line to write specific numbers.

What's great about it: Technically very easy to use
What's not so great: Print very light at launch should use black ink.

Couldn't be easier

We don't lead a complicated life, but handing our paperwork over to a tax accountant each year gave us the willies. And he was so fast it made us wonder if he was really looking out for us, or if it was really that easy.
It's that easy with Turbo Tax.

What's great about it: Pre-filled areas and built-in calculations mean no errors. Deduction 'prompts' make the whole process a breeze.
What's not so great: No cons.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Program

What used to take me days of reading tax pamphlets and trying to understand tax gibberish, now takes me a couple hours of sitting and answering simple questions and filling in the blanks. I love this program for the time it saves and the headaches it prevents.
What's great about it: I like its simplicity

Couldn't E-file Fed Return

I chose to E-file Federal return and mail state return. Got to the final step in preparing Fed return and hit the transmit button, and got an error message that return couldn't be validated at the Intuit filing center, and I should check for program updates. I did so, there were none to be installed. TurboTax still wouldn't complete the E-file transmission. So I ended up mailing my Fed return.
What's great about it: Step-by-step walkthrough of income & deductions
What's not so great: Wouldn't validate E-file

IRA 1099R Distrabutin

An IRA 1099r from one bank that we closed the account and
took the check to another bank for a roll over is listed in the
Turbo tax as income was confusing... I did later say we would
not be taxed for this money....Was a bit confusing for me...

Never had a problem with Turbo Tax

I used this on a Mac for the first time, had a problem transmitting the returns but when I rebooted the computer they went through with no problem.
During the review, one error was found where I had to answer the question with yes or no but there was no explanation for the question. I had to look it up on a different website.
What's great about it: Very easy

Change Seamless

I have used turbotax for several years and each year it gets even easier to do.
What's great about it: Ability to import tax data and automatic fill in the forms makes doing tax return so easy
What's not so great: Even with information dialogue boxes, trying to understand some of the more obscure tax issues takes effort.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
