eases the pain

This is my 4th year using Turbo-tax. I save a lot of time and frustration by following the procedures in the system. I like knowing that I may or may not be audited after filing.
What's great about it: orderly way of processing
What's not so great: some dead-ends on deductions

Easy to do Taxes

Love it. Have been using turbo tax for years and it just seems to be getting easier and faster. It could be I am just getting use to it. I love the import feature. Thanks again for getting me through another tax season with ease.
What's great about it: Easy, fast, and accurate
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It was very frustrating not to be able to get the printed material and no one to call.
What's great about it: quick
What's not so great: couldn't get figures to print on document just got blank form without figures

2013 Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax walks you thru the tax forms. There are still parts that are very confusing, and Turbo Tax does try to help in these areas. Unfortunately, sometimes it directs you to the IRS site which usually just further confuses the average person. Turbo tax is probably the next best to having a tax accountant with you. Next best unfortunately is not the best.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Tax filing still confusing

Great Product

I have been using TurboTax/MacinTax for many years. The 2013 version did not disappoint. You can customize by choosing your own topics or you can let the program guide you through every topic. If you are in the same basic tax situation as the previous year, it fast and easy to import last years data and do a few quick updates and you are finished.

SImple and easy

I am actually a part time tax preparer and I still use turbo tax as it is all that I need.
What's great about it: inexpensive, quick and easy
What's not so great: forms can't be manipulated like more expensive software - but you get what you pay for
