Have used Turbotax since 2006 and have been happy with it. Much easier and more thorough than doing it myself and much cheaper than paying for an accounting service.

Great refund

The program was great throughout, however, when it was time to e-file it became difficult. There was an error message stating that i had to file by mail or update the program. When i checked for updates, the program was fine. I tried to send it over and over again and nothing. I then, closed the program and reopened it, finally after 30 minutes, it finally sent.
What's great about it: very easy to work through
What's not so great: E-filing was very difficult i had to close the program and reopen to send my E-file

We have been using Turbotax for a long time and have had great success. We are not tax people, who know all the rules and laws, we follow the guide and answer the questions. We also do our childrens as well so more savings there!!
What's great about it: Conveniently at home - low cost -user friendly - can do your childrens as well
What's not so great: Can be tricky if you have a new experience or need to ammend.

Like always, TurboTax was quick and easy to use. I am very happy with them and will continue to purchase their product every year.
What's great about it: Automatic download of W2, step by step guide through process
What's not so great: could be free ;p
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Taxes R Easy W/ TT

Found TT easy to use, straight forward and easy to understand questions. The software is quick to load and runs well on an older machine. Remembers where the tax files are stored and loads the files and saves the files where you want. Makes preparing and electronic filing taxes a breeze.
What's great about it: Ease of use, easy to understand, data entry, auto data port from previous returns, electronic filing
What's not so great: none this year

Serious holes in on-line product this year.

I have used TurboTax for years and been mostly happy with the experience. Unfortunately, this year the on-line version would not let me print any documents but those to be sent to IRS. This left me without any of the documents I have always used to review my input. I had to transfer to the PC version to get the documents I needed. This took me the better part of a day. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!
What's great about it: Seems thorough and comprehensive, reasonably easy to use.
What's not so great: Couldn't print all reports on-line.
