Turbo Tax Review

For repeat customers, there should be an up-date version that you could purchase for the previous year instead of having to buy a new copy each year. I would like to see less copies of free federal e-file and include a free state-efile.
What's great about it: Very easy to use.
What's not so great: Must buy new copy each year

It is easy to use and I like the back button. You don't lose anything if you go back.
What's great about it: covers all bases
What's not so great: the wording of somethings are hard to understand
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is the worst turbo-tax ever! Well, since 2007 or so:
On a Mac:
-Didn't pull in data from last year, even though I used Turbo Tax 2012 to do those taxes...on the same computer!
-Took extra long to transmit the e-file
-Explanations for Health Savings account didn't help.
-Will look for an alternative to Turbo Tax in 2015...can it be worse?

refund improvement

initial filing declined, so had to return and fil in corrected info, but after did, able to go back and redo filing, and got more back in federal and ended up owing less in state!!!!
What's great about it: detailed explainations of how to
What's not so great: not all financial questions written for laymen

TurboTax is my go to for personal tax prep! It has never failed or at least the IRS has left me alone. Love the way it seeks and uploads past tax forms as well as online tax forms. No significant complaints……Use the community question area if you have troubles!
What's great about it: Simple instructions, easy uploads, community connections huge help, price good, stop-restart options wonderful
What's not so great: Oregon non-resident forms daunting on TT, had to read booklet & view forms to make sense
