Like TurboTax much better than TaxCut

I have used TaxCut the past couple of years but decided to try
TurboTaxt this year. TurboTax, at least in my opinion, wins hands down. The wording in the sentences that TurboTax uses when requesting input from the user is far better than TaxCut. Too often when I entered a value in TaxCut, I thought to myself "I think that is what they are looking for". Never happened with TurboTax .. very specific on what value they need.
Good product, very good help text.

Love this Turbotax program!

9 out of 10 program. I've been using this program since 1999. it's easy to use, and thorough to help you get back what you deserve. Takes you even to the minutia to get credit. I will continue to use it. Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy entry...step by step instructions...calculates the math for you
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to get to a specific spot on a form

Personal tax services made easy ...

I almost enjoy doing taxes each year with this program, and this year was no exception. Only one Alert Message caught my eye, and kind of left me hanging. I was cautioned that there might be a duplicate entry for two investment accounts under investment firms that had the same name. I was told to make sure that I did not make the same entry twice. This apparently occurred as a result of an import from one of the investment firms that I downloaded. However, I was only offered that somewhat vague info without pointing out more specific details - like who was the firm, and what name was on the account ? I did a lot of checking, and was not able to find a duplicate, so thank you for the head's up ... it just would have been a time saver if more detail had been offered. As always .. thank you for a great product to start with !
What's great about it: the 'flow through' for 2013 was easy to follow in addition to all the other advantages that Turbo Tax offers
What's not so great: one 'Alert' was vague with it's reference
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Okay until time to print

turbo tax does a great job of doing the tax return, but has put too many obstacles to printing and filing the return.
What's great about it: Automatic fill in of data from previous year.
What's not so great: Inability to print mail return until after this is filled in - and it locked up my computer.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I will continue to do so as long as I can and find it tremendously helpful.
Oh and it's stupid that I cannot use my name as a nick name because someone else used it. Who cares for purposes of a survey!!!
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Occasionally difficult to get to a particular spot.

2013 Taxes - TurboTax

The pdf file with Adobe Reader does not permit 2 sided printing and there are no instructions on how to proceed if I want 2 sided printing.
What's great about it: Filling out forms and data
What's not so great: very difficult to print part of PDF file in correct sequence

Taxes made easy peasy

It appears that Turbo tax improves every year. It's always been accurate and simple to use, but the user interface is getting better and better.
What's great about it: Simple, straightforward, friendly and bug free
What's not so great: None that i know of
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
