What's great about it: EASY TO UNDERSTAND

Easy additions and changes

I gotta admit, we used an accountant for many years. This is easier, faster, and much more convenient. I can get in and out easily, it asks questions which remind me of things I need to add or look up. And, immediate filing is a treat!
I really like the fact that prior year's returns are used to fill in the info which has not changed, and by looking at last year, I remember to include things this year.
What's great about it: Easy to hop in and add or change something
What's not so great: Charitable donations needs a button at the top to add more items
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Fun doing Taxes

My wife and I look forward to doing our taxes with Turbo Tax. This is our eighth year using Turbo Tax. We usually get the Deluxe program and like how it automatically transfers all the previous info into the new year. After a year of keeping files on income, donations, prescriptions, medical, dental, etc. We have a good time on the cold nights of January and February putting this info into the proper places on Turbo Tax. We also like the import function to get info from financial institutions. It is good to know that this info goes into the correct area of the taxes.
What's great about it: Helps, Review process for errors, Effective Tax Rate, Updates
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing.

Easy Tax Filing with TurboTax--As usual!

As usual I just zipped through my tax preparation. TurboTax makes it so easy and straightforward. I have been using TurboTax since it was founded years ago as MacInTax, version 1.0. Prior to then I had developed my own VisiCalc and later Excel spreadsheet tax calculation models. TurboTax is so much easier with the Q&A format that leads one through the preparation for filing. The only work involved is preparing and maintaining my receipt and records files throughout the year. With this done,tax filing is a one or two evening process with guaranteed accuracy.
What's great about it: Easy to enter the information and data.
What's not so great: None

As always enjoyed using TurboTax (although I don't enjoy taxes). I recommend the length of the screen shot be reduced to alleviate the scrolling down to the continue button. Minor I know, but noticeable.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Form on screen a little too long

Turbo Tax 2013 review

The process is relatively painless. The import of previous year's data is essential and appreciated. The efliing is also helpful and straight forward. Review of file and checking for errors with help to correct is also a good feature. I am not sure how accurate the predictor for audits is but it is nevertheless comforting to see the dial in the green. The basic business features are adequate for very small or free lance folks without needing the burdensome details of the business filing software.
What's great about it: user friendly, import data correctly from previous year files

Easy to follow instructions. Works best if used each year since it imports last years info for comparison and to save re-entry.
What's great about it: i trust turbotax to do it right
What's not so great: extra fee for state efile.

Needs to ask user to setup a file in the begining. My computer crashed 2 hours in, and I had to redo everything because program had not created a data file yet.
What's great about it: Good questions, easy to Navigate
