Quick & Easy

Very user friendly and easy to navigate. It made filing my taxes a quick process and prompted me to find all of the documents I needed. Love that I could get started & finish later. Wonderful that it remembers all of last year's info, so I don't have to dig in my files to find it. I will be sure to add Turbo Tax to my shopping list every year!
What's great about it: I love that Turbo Tax remembered all my information from last year, it made it easy to file with step by step guidance.
What's not so great: Feels so easy you think you're forgetting something.`

Still overpriced

You would think that once you have received your investment in product development that the prices could come down to a more reasonable level. While there are changes that must be made to keep up with the latest IRS code revisions, there couldn't be that many so your development costs for subsequent annual revisions should be able to be reduced -- especially for "loyal" buyers such as myself and countless millions of others.
What's great about it: Good interview process and detailed checking for permitted deductions.
What's not so great: Still costs about twice what it should.

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love me some Turbo Tax!

I love Turbo Tax! It is definitely worth it's weight in gold! I have used it for many years now.
What's great about it: Showing the differences between last year and this year.
What's not so great: I had to go back and look up some things from past years...kind of a pain!

TurboTax is great

I have been using TurboTax for several years now. I find it a great product and easy to use. I get my return quickly and it is easy to file my Federal taxes. I don't need to file State taxes so I don't know how the state taxes work. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to do their own taxes.
What's great about it: quick and easy to use, lots of information, does a great job
What's not so great: Prints lots of extra paper when the return is done

Taxes were a breeze!!

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 10 years. It is so easy to load on the computer and the automatic transfer and downloads of W-2's make the process all the more efficient and accurate. I especially enjoy the "walk through process" and the ability to E-File. It only takes me an hour to process my return. Thanks for making the filing process easy and fun.
What's great about it: Software is so thorough and walks you through. Its as easy as a "walk in the park"
What's not so great: The requirement to file taxes. If I did not have to pay taxes and file returns my life would be so much easier!

Needs updates first!

Needs to auto update after installation. Prior years did, 2013 did not. It kept locking up on me at the start and I couldn't figure out why it was totally freezing my PC. I assumed it checked for updates first like previous versions, but it did not. Also, I buy the deluxe version for the most deductions, but I realize every year I don't need it because I always go with the standard deduction. It would be nice to just upgrade as needed and pay for what I need. I also had my PO box changed but stayed at the same residence. Was worried about the discrepancies.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Needs to reimburse you if you do not need deluxe or premium.
