Very easy to use

The program was easy to use and it asked you about different items in easy to understand wording.
What's great about it: Explained diffferent credits and deductions that are out there

I really appreciated the ease of this product. It was a "no brainer". I did not have to do much "leg work". I also liked the fact that last year's return was transferred-saved me lots of time and headache. It really was very easy all I had to do was retrieve a few documents-TurboTax did the rest. I did not like the cost of the product. I am not sure I will be able to continue purchasing if price continues to increase about $20.00 a year! Would appreciate if TurboTax makers would consider offering "loyalty" discounts to those of us that use product year after year. Overall, best product on the market!

had trouble with data entry on our side, spent 163 minutes with tech helpline. it was trying but they went step by step through everything until it was corrected. even held on to make sure the rest was ok.
What's great about it: excellent phone help line
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Disappointed to pay state

I was disappointed to have to pay to file my state taxes. Really?

I'm a turbo-tax addict. I wish we had to file monthly. Ok.. just kidding. But I do love it. Easy. Intuitive. No bugs

If I can Do This Anyone Can!

Some people may actually enjoy doing their taxes. I don't and that's why I use TurboTax. It saves information from the previous year, eliminating the redundant work of re-entering pertinent data. If you choose, the software takes you through, step-by-step. If you are more experienced, you can select only the sections that pertain to your tax situation. One important thing I learned after I started doing my own taxes is to keep a folder for the tax year beginning on January 1 of the new year. Charitable deductions, business & medical expenses, property taxes paid, etc., should go in the folder throughout the year. Organizing this information ahead of time will make sure that you take advantage of all the deductions that TurboTax will review for you.
What's great about it: Saves time and money.
What's not so great: Really can't think of any...
