Solid Performance...but

Inputing the information was very easy. Program made sure I got all the deductions I could use. But, when I tried to efile, I got an error telling me it could not validate, and therefore, I needed to update the software. BUT, when I tried to update...the program kept telling me that there were no updates available.
Had to remove all old files from 4 previous years, then delete everything but the application program file. Then clear the trash!
Then, and only then, would the program validate and send my return.

What's great about it: Great interview process
What's not so great: Trouble e-filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

2014 Tax Season - Almost Enjoyable...

Using Turbo Tax to complete my 2013 taxes was a straightforward and easy process. As long as you have your documents in hand, you just step through the various sections. For those more knowledgeable, you can skip any sections in part or in whole.

Solid Product

I have used Turbotax since I have had a home computer. As my family has grown and our income and resources have grown, Turbotax has gown too. It has become even more user friendly and even when there are small glitches it took only 3 minutes to find the answer and resolve the issue. Great program and I trust Turbotax.
What's great about it: Great Program for home use
What's not so great: Some areas need more explanation

Tax's made easy

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years. Why pay big bucks to have your taxes done when Turbo Tax makes is so easy to use. You just have to pay attention to the questions asked to make sure you fill it out accurately.
What's great about it: The program walks you through the processor.
What's not so great: Have entered information when on review was missing

What's great about it: The warnings regarding old forms that I didn't fill out this year
What's not so great: A little confusing on how to delete those old forms for the current year that were not needed

Excelent help with the sale of a rental

I had a rental that I just sold. For the last 20 years this property had an amortization line instead of the depreciation line. Turbo Tax specialist understood my problem and agreed with my approach of deleting the asset and re-adding it so TT would recalculate depreciation and classify the expense properly, thus calculating the gain/loss correctly. Thanks!
