2013 tax

Had no problems in using the program. Seemed to be smother than last year. filing at the end, ? I owe the fed and receive a refund from the state. elected to mail a check in to the fed, but it indicated that my state refund would be less the amount I owe to the fed. hope that's not the case, will see in my direct deposit.
What's great about it: easy to use & understand
What's not so great: update to program happened after data input, just seemed backwards.

Turbo Tax

I guess the fact that I have been using Turbo Tax for years says a lot right there. I like the ease and convenience. The cost of Turbo Tax is far less than going to a tax preparation office. No appointments necessary with TurboTax and I can e-file my returns.
I would love to see a live chat line but I figure that would be rather expensive to run but I like the Q & A area where I can ask questions.

What's great about it: Quick and it transfers previous years information
What's not so great: Forms that were supposed to be ready by Dec of 2013 were not available by March 1, 2014

Easy to follow and use

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and have always found the product easy to use. I don't see dramatic improvement from year to year, but I appreciate the anticipation of my questions. I am rarely interested in additional products, but the introduction to those products in this one is good without being hounded to purchase anything additional. I appreciate the ability to easily say "No thanks."
What's great about it: Step-by-step guidelines, anticipates my questions
What's not so great: At points have to walk all the way back through a category to make a correction and re-enter things I've already entered

Been using TurboTax for seven years and it's always been fast and easy. A little bit of scare this year when I got the "blue screen of death" in the middle of the process, but hadn't lost much more than some of my charitable contributions. First time this has ever happened!
Would still highly recommend this product!
