Love ease of use

I've been using TurboTax for about 25 years and have yet had a problem with it. They're always quick with updates and always help to correct inconsistencies or errors. I plan to continue.
What's great about it: Lets you choose between "do it yourself" or walk thru with help
What's not so great: None

Easy to use but missing updates

I installed the software and began stepping through the phases of the process immediately. If you follow the guidance of the Turbo-tax software instead of exploring the tax preparation options on your own the process of completing your tax return return is greatly simplified.
There were two sections where the government had not finished there documents by the time my version of Turbo-tax shipped and when I got to that point I was notified by the software about the Federal governments incomplete information. That is the good news. In times past I would get a popup when using Turbo-tax asking me if I wanted to update the software. I did not get this option on installing the software this year. I always update the software before I begin using the software. I want that feature back next year. I still give Turbo-tax two thumbs up.
What's great about it: The software is easy to understand and that makes the software easy to use.
What's not so great: The software did not ask if I wanted to update immediately after the installation
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Love Turbo Tax

I love how Turbo tax pulls in last years info. The first year was stressful with the learning curve and manual errors. This year was such a breeze. I love e-filing and auto deposit. I truly believe I get more $$ back using turbo tax since my tax preparer did not ask nearly as many questions and I sure I missed out on a LOT of deductions I was entitled to.

New format

I like the new format better than the old ones. It was very easy to follow, less time for filing tax return.
One problem when I click "transmit" the first time, it did not go through. stated there's an update. I closed and reopened Turbotax, there was no update, but it went through the 2nd time.
Also, I set up the password as Turbotax suggested but not password required when i reopened the program.
Overall, this is a terrific program i have been using it for many years.

TAXES MADE EASY

Easy peasy tax return

I have a pretty basic return and felt, like always, that Turbo Tax seems to work well.
What's great about it: like the step by step
What's not so great: don't like the upsale ads
