SIGH OF RELIEF

THIS WAS SUCH AN EASY AND WELL CONSTRUCTED RETURN PROCESS. IT BEATS ALL OTHER PRODUCTS!! AND TURBOTAX CHECKED AND RECHECKED TO MAKE SURE I HAD EVERYTHING COVERED SO MY RETURN WAS ACCURATE.
What's great about it: SO EASY
What's not so great: SITTING FOR SOOOO LONG
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

2013 refund

I was able to complete the return with relative ease until it was time to file and print. I e filed the federal return and wanted to print and send the state. e file was easy but to print the state for mailing was difficult. Had to keep going back. This should be made easier.
What's great about it: ease of use if you have last years taxes.
What's not so great: doesn't want you to mail a return

Did not have any solutions to state disablity insurance income
What's great about it: Knowing where I stood tax wise through the process
What's not so great: One specific quesiton regarding income could not be answered.

Excellent tax preparation software

This is an excellent tax preparation tool. It captures your past images from the previous tax year which I find to be valuable. It also alerts you to changes in the tax laws. It also has built in functions where you can review the actual IRS tax form. It contains the necessary information to make good decisions about what option to choose to get the most out of your choices for tax reporting. The only thing I don't like about the software is that on some instances it does not return you to the previous screen. It also allows you to update your tax forms and software from the company's website. Overall, It has continued to meets my needs in the area of federal and state tax preparation. I have not tried any other tax preparation tools due to the fact that this software tool is getting the job done for me.
What's great about it: Good solid software tool
What's not so great: Back button does not always return to the previous page

Overall, a good product and experience, but need improvement with the recalculation of prior year's return to determine impact of state tax refunds paid in current year. Turbo Tax should add this to their product so user doesn't have to manually do it themselves,
What's great about it: Detailed step-by-step process and information
What's not so great: Calculation of state tax refund income credit due to AMT is complicated and not done by Turbo Tax. User has to do it.
