Good except for ignored defect

Everything was fine except that it copied last years state tax refund incorrectly. I looked in the help pages and found others had the same problem. I took the time to scan my entire computer for the value that it posted to my 2013 returns and it didn't exist anywhere. I posted this info and several others have the same problem. It seems that this problem is being ignored.
What's great about it: easy to fill in forms
What's not so great: Copied last years state tax refund amount incorrectly.

A step backward

I have used TT for many years and this is definitely a step backwards. The review totals don't show spousal support, even though it shows up on the forms. The system doesn't remind you of final forms that need to be mailed in for divorced couples. If I hadn't had to do it in past years I would have had no idea I needed to do it this year. Overall I am disappointed.
What's great about it: Got the taxes done
What's not so great: Confusing directions and incomplete data display
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Every Detail

Very helpful. Felt like I got all my information on the return by following everything it asked. Walked me through everything I needed.
What's great about it: I liked the fact Turbo Tax walks you through all the items needed to file.
What's not so great: Only problem I had was after it would update it says restarting Turbo Tax but mine never did. Always had to open again.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Seniors Success!

We've recently moved to a continuing care community so you can tell we're not youngsters. We've been using Turbo Tax for at least a decade and it just seems to be improving with age...just like us! Our income is a mixture of social security, pensions,and investment income. All handled quite nicely with the import-data feature. This year we also had a house sale, and that was also handled seamlessly. We've auto-filed (Federal and State) so all that's left is waiting for the refunds to show up in our checking account.
What's great about it: Covered all bases plus luxury suite, at bleacher's cost
What's not so great: Perhaps a bit too "friendly".

Pontiac Michigan City Tax Form

Each year the Turbo Tax gets my city of Pontiac Non-Resident tax wrong. They say that I "owe" the money, when the non-resident tax has been withdrawn from my paycheck through out the year and already paid to the city of Pontiac. This information is already entered on my W-2 as well. However, I will add that the amount "owed" is correct, but I just don't want to pay the city twice.

Worked Well Except.......

I've used the program for quite a few years and been happy until this year's glitch. The 1099 Misc continued to place a $34.00 entry on a Schedule C Sole Proprietorship instead of E for Royalty. Linked it manually.
What's great about it: Program worked well for both S Corp and Individual
What's not so great: 1099 Misc needs some work. Linked to Schedule C instead of E.

State Load Issue
