Usually Wonderful!

I've been totally satisfied with Turbo Tax for years but realized this year that I need to be more diligent in checking the figures it automatically carries forward from the prior year's tax forms (done in Turbo Tax). Good thing I caught it but I was surprised by the error! Very unusual. I would still recommend the product, however.
What's great about it: An excellent DIY tool.
What's not so great: Not infallible.

I Like TurboTax

I have been using TurboTax for several years and plan to continue using it. This program makes filing taxes much easier than doing the entire process manually. You have the assurance that you have made no mathematical errors and when you file, you feel confident that you have an accurate return.
What's great about it: TurboTax makes it really easy to complete your return
What's not so great: It is sometimes difficult to find items you need to edit

Not as stable as usual

TurboTax has always been a very helpful product, but this year's version was not as stable as past years. I had a problem with e-file. I kept getting a message that the return could not be transmitted because internet connection might have been lost during transmission. This was not an accurate message because I was still able to check for TurboTax updates!
Luckily, I was able to check the knowledge base for suggestions. Unfortunately, I had to uninstall, remove a folder from Programs, then re-install. Luckily it worked after that, but I have never had these problems in the past.
What's great about it: Ease of Use; did not take long to complete
What's not so great: not as stable as usual; not a lot of help regarding miscellaneous income
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

While the software is intuitive and easy to follow for simpler returns, it does seem that there is an effort to dip a little into your money. The additional costs that are levied for state efile etc should be either included in the base price or more clearly stated on the packaging. it does seem like an additional charge is being levied.
What's great about it: simple format
What's not so great: seems to be additional effort to get more money after you have bought the program

I'll stick with it for now because it is too hard to change to a new program. Cost may be an issue for the future.
What's great about it: line to be able to import from last year
What's not so great: Really not ready for release, too many updates. Incorrect on how to file for a deceased.
