I have used TurboTax for a number of years. I found this year to be better than in the past.
Any way to include state electronic filing fee with initial purchase?

What's great about it: moved through easily
What's not so great: paying for state return electronic filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall great software. I will recommend to anyone. Fast and easy. I feel Turbo Tax is watching my back.
What's great about it: Very easy and walks you through step by step. Keeps me safe. Great format.
What's not so great: No options to print a small return with less pages. I don't need all these pages. It took 61 pages for me, whynot 10?

Wouldn't Do My Taxes Without It

Ive used TurboTax since way back in the day when it was MacinTax. I used H&R Block once instead because I thought I had a complicated return that year. I will never make that mistake again. I should have used Turbo Tax as my return that year was apparently too complicated for the agent to handle - he stuffed it in a drawer and ignored it. I use TurboTax every year now. It is pretty easy to use and waaay easy to file and get my money back, both with the Federal and State return. My only complaint is that there tends to be too many worksheets and or forms generated that don't really seem necessary. Its not really a factor until you print. Then it creates way too many pages. Other than that, I've had a great history with this product.
What's great about it: Handles most everything without having to read IRS instructions.
What's not so great: Tends to create and print too many superfluous worksheets and unneeded forms.

Easy to use. After your first use, it transfers all the time consuming task of names, address,etc. It walks you thru all aspects of the process with clear and concise questions. We have been using it for 10 years.

quick and east

Only complaint is that I did not file last year but I did the year before. Turbo Tax would not let me upload my 2011 return to save time entering my personal info.
Otherwise it was a good experience and was fast and easy.
What's great about it: It was fast to file and easy to do

i like the bringing in of previous years tax return and comparaisons of changes since the last tax filing.

2014 not up to Par, ,many issues

1)Requires admin password to load updates, not necessary with other versions
2) Some processes created bugs which would then crash the system
3) There were radial buttons on some of the pages where multiple options were checked and could not be unchecked

What's great about it: most areas worked as expected
What's not so great: Bugs and system crashes when saving to a PDF. Issues with printing.
