quick and easy

Been using turbo tax for 17 years now and not one problem.My taxes don't take me more than 30 minutes now and everything transfers over from last year.It can't get any easier. I print my tax form out and and found the very first one i did in 1997. Great product

Less service for more money

Every year the program has less and less documents available, you have to update through the website and they still won't give you access to the documents you need. The price increases and now it does less. They allow you to e-file just the federal, you have to pay double if you need the state. They change the names in the boxes and the information is not clear.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. I always bought the Deluxe because it had the state tax for free with it... So this year I bought the Deluxe fo $50 & then had to pay an additional $46 for the state tax. I could have used a free version of Turbo Tax & then bought my state tax & been okay but all past experience was to buy the deluxe version because the state tax is free with it... So now & have nearly a $100 invested & I could get it done cheaper professionally somewhere else... Needless to say I am not happy about this! Also I cannot print the pdf file because it has some kind of problem that says it is corrupt & can't be fixed... That could be something with my system I suppose but it opens my past years taxes... Anyway you asked for my review & here it is... I'm sure it won't mean a thing & I'm just aol.

Once again it was easy. And I had a lot of extra charitable deductions this year. It all went like clockwork. I'm very happy with the product.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've use turbo-tax for the last 13 years and It is the easiest thing to use. I would recommend this to anyone who would want to do their own taxes.

Software glitch

Have used Turbo Tax for a number of years. A lot of information loads from previous years.
This years software has a bug that shuts my computer down on a fairly regular basis.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use
What's not so great: Computer shut down more than once while using TurboTax
