Very simple and self guided very easy

A great process to file taxes. I have used Turbo a number of years and it is simple.
What's great about it: the prompts

FRUSTRATED

AFTER I FINISHED PUTTING IN ALL MY NECESSARY INFOR MATION AND IT TOLD ME IT WAS READY TO "E" MAIL I TOLD IT TO SUBMIT --UP POPS A SCREEN THAT SAYS AN UPDATE IS NEEDED. SO, I UPDATED. AFTER THAT IT TOLD ME I COULD NOT "E"FILE AND SHOULD FILE BY MAIL. I TRIED REPEATEDLY AND GOT THE SAME MESSAGE. SO I SHUT TURBO TAX DOWN FOR THE DAY. UPON RE-STARTING TURBO IT WELCOMED ME BACK AND PROCEEDED TO TAKE ME THROUGH THE FINAL STEPS AGAIN TELLING ME I COULD "E" FILE SO I TOLD IT TO GO AHEAD. IT DID THIS TIME "E" MAIL MY TAXES. I SPENT A FRUSTRATED HOUR TRYING TO STRAIGHTEN OUT THE ENDING STEPS. YOU OUGHT TO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT ENDING PROCESS.
What's great about it: DOES What I CAN NOT DO W ITHOUT HELP
What's not so great: FOR A NON COMPUTER GEEK I FIND IT DIFFICULT TO USE IN ITS FINAL STAGES

Easy Refund

I was really pleased with how easy it is to navigate the software, send federal taxes electronically, and print out the forms. I will continue to use Turbo Tax every year.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate and information right at your hand,
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good program

This program will ask you questions, and based on your answers, it will ask any other pertinent questions that you might need to answer.
It is relatively easy to go back and re look at / or redo any section you may want to.
It will transfer your information from the prior years tax return if you used Turbo tax last year.
Before I started using Turbo Tax, I did everything line by line by hand. It took longer, but I knew all the "extra"s by doing this.
With Turbo Tax, it takes less time (still all day) and you don't have to fill in everything by hand and do the math hoping you don't mess that up. You get all the "extras" figured out for you by how you answer the questions.
It is relatively easy to go back and re look at / or redo any section you may want to.

Easy to Use - Makes filing your taxes a breeze

I've been using Turbo Tax since 2008. Prior I was paying someone to do my taxes. I wouldn't do my taxes any other way now. The detailed questions guide you through every step of the way to help you understand and think of things you may not have considered. The medical area takes you through detailed areas as well. I've even looked through the details in different areas to see what I would need to save for next year if I hadn't already. This could make a difference if additional backup/receipts/etc. are required to submit. The "explain this question" area, explains as well as refers you to which publication is applicable if you want to refer to it as well. I just retired this year, thus was paid 2 different ways. Turbo Tax helped guide me through this life changing event. The product updates with any changes as they occur. Bottom Line, Turbo Tax is the way to go,
What's great about it: Simple to use; Excellent Questions Asked; Guides you Step by Step; Detailed Donation Area
What's not so great: Don't have any Cons

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now. It is so much easier than doing with paper & pencil. It is actually fun especially when I get a refund!
What's great about it: Does not take much time, elimenates careless errors & can be trusted

This was relatively easy and did the hard work for me! TurboTax knew extra things I could get a refund for - like vehicle registration tax! Awesome!
What's great about it: You went through every possible item for me.... even things I didn't know counted!!
What's not so great: Took me about 3 hours to complete. I thought it would be about one hour.
