I did not like the way I had to enter my vehicle mileage deduction. If I had not read the help screen and manually calculated my deduction, I would have missed it. The 2012 tax version had me enter the mileage and it calculated the deduction for me. The old way was much easier.
You cleaned up the child daycare deduction screen. There was a bug last year because I could enter the deduction but the screen to input the daycare was missing. If i hit BACK it would then take me to the needed screen.
Overall, getting better every year.
What's great about it: Super easy step by step instructions
What's not so great: Some changes from last year are worse, not better
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

When I import financial information (from LPL) into Turbo Tax it works perfectly with the Federal return, but does not work well with the state (Mississippi) return. I end up having to enter the tax id number and address for every form LPL submits to Turbo tax. This was also a problem last year. Other than that, I love Turbo Tax.

I've used Turbo Tax many times in my life for moderately complicated returns and it always does a good job.

Turbo Tax is simple and easy to use. Just make sure you have all the appropriate paperwork and documentation, and you are good to go!

Hopefully, next year - this return(s) will be located by the software. If not, then Intuit has issues.
Very pleased with the software and service. If one does his part throughout year by staying organized with all pertinent documents needed to complete their return - even the novice can complete the process quickly - and, with confidence.
What's great about it: Flexible for novices and experts
What's not so great: Software failed to locate prior year return??
