I have been using Turbo tax for the pass ten years. I would recommend Turbo tax to family and friends. It's cheaper than the tax man by a long shoot.
What's great about it: Better than going to the tax man
What's not so great: There's only one state return that I can file

I do several of my families taxes. I love how I can just transmit return from year before and not have to enter all that data again.
What's great about it: Easy, easy, easy!
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No matter what I do or try, I cant print my forms at the end with all the data filled in !!!! All that prints is blank forms waiting to be filled in. I tried your help and there is NOTHING there to help me on this. I have used TurboTax for many years, and have NEVER had a problem printing my returns before. Good thing I am efiling......... or I would have NO completed tax return to mail in to the IRS !!!!!!!!. I will be doing my mother in law's return soon, and she does NOT efile. I will need to be able to print her returns for her !!!! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?????????? Also, I see NOWHERE to call for help or assistance.

Have used Turbo Tax for years. Never have had a problem with it. Takes me step by step. Easy to import information. Will keep on using.

I cant print my final returns with data filled in. All I get printed is blank tax forms with NO info filled in. How is one supposed to mail in a tax return ?????? Good thing I e file........ but in a few days I will be doing my mother in law's return, and SHE DOES NOT EFILE. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?????? AS OF NOW, I HAVE NO WAY TO PRINT HER RETURNS !!!!!!!!! ONLY BLANK FORMS. YOUR HELP DOES NOT ADDRESS THIS AT ALL, AND I CAN FIND NOWHERE A WAY TO CALL FOR ASSISTANCE !!!!!!!!!!!!

E-file Charges

TurboTax is helpful, convenient, easy to use. There shouldn't be a fee charged for e-file. Both Federal and State e-file should be included in CD software purchase.
What's great about it: Convenient, Quick turn-around for refund
What's not so great: Should not have to pay additional e-file fee for State return. Should be included in CD software purchase.

I would have liked to see a step by step in gathering all information needed for someone who just retired within the year. (Social Security, Any Money Borrowed, Pension Money, Other) To assist in making sure all 1099 were there as well as W-2. (This is a first time retiree return.)
Would also like to see a Special Price for Turbo Tax for repeat customers.
What's great about it: The Forms were there as I needed them.
What's not so great: None
