Taxes Quick, Complete, and Easy.

I am a long-time user of Turbo Tax. I hat filing my taxes, and the program helps me do a thorough job in just a couple of hours. There is lots of guidance and explanation, and wonderful cross checking to make sure you are getting credit for all of your deductions and credits.
What's great about it: Ease of use, thoroughness, cross-checking, backup help information and links, clear explanations
What's not so great: Page scrolling gets a bit long during the interview. Current topic should be at the top of the list.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Answer to our Tax Nightmare!

If you are submitting individual or married filing jointly with short forms and are uncomfortable going to Tax Preparation Services who charge to much based on what they see they can get back for you then TurboTax is definitely the way to go.
What's great about it: This program was user friendly, easy to follow and did the research for us based on our information.
What's not so great: Honestly, we did not have any issues with this software program. It was literally an answer to our prayers.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It's so much easier filing my taxes with Turbo Tax. I feel confident that it provides me with all the accurate information that I need to get the best return for me. All at the ease and comfort of my own home. Convenience, security, and accuracy. Can't beat it!

Easy & Fast

I've been using Turbo Tax for more than 10 years. It gets better each year. It makes it easy to itemize and get the max return. It walks you through schedule C easily, calculates and tracks depreciation, so if you do some business out of your house, it makes it easy to do your taxes.
What's great about it: Fast, easy to understand, easy to file
What's not so great: eFile charge is high

Great, except

I ended up with a penalty last year because some Social Security disability benefits were not paid. I made sure to check this year and found that TurboTax missed it again (or at least didn't ask), and I had to go back through and ask it to enter my SSA-1099.
