Let Turbo Tax do the work!

I'm an accounting/computer idiot - but I love Turbo Tax. My son persuaded me to try this right after I retired, and I was amazed that I could actually file my own taxes .. and be confident that I had not left anything out or made major mistakes. Thanks for a really great program. If I can use it - anyone can use it!
What's great about it: Very easy to follow. Leaves nothing out.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great experience

Completing our tax return was quick and relatively painless. We had a special situation this year that was already addressed in the software, to our relief! I've used TurboTax for nearly as long as it's been in existence and am a loyal customer. No reason to switch - it works!
One thing, though: we had a number of 1099-Gs, many of them from the same location. It would be nice not to have to reenter all the information for each win.
What's great about it: Simple to use
What's not so great: Duplicate forms must be reentered

WHY does it keep charging for state?? thought there was to be 1 free state

mailing my state refund is a pain

I am not sure I am going to use turbo tax again next year. If there isn't an option for printing and mailing my state return next year, I don't think I will buy it again. It's getting to be too much of a hassle.

Done for another year!

I really like Turbo Tax, but may have to find another tax return program since I mail my state returns in and Turbo Tax doesn't allow for this anymore. I don't think that Turbo Tax recognized that I completed my state return for 2013.
What's great about it: Federal efile included.
What's not so great: The state file return doesn't provide the option to print and mail the return.

I totally trust turbo tax with my taxes every year. I find it easy to use and it actually teaches me information about my taxes. I wouldn't consider using anything else.
What's great about it: easy to use and trustworthy

Awesome refund

The days of paying others hundreds of dollars to do my taxes are over. TurboTax made it very easy for me do to my taxes. If you can read and understand English, you can do your taxes using TurboTax.
What's great about it: easy step by step instructions
