20+ Year turbo Tax Customer

I've been a happy customer for over 20 years and this year is no exception. It's like you knew what I did last year and asked all the right questions.
When I was in the military, one of my yearly extra duties was to be the income tax advisor for my organization. If I had a computer back then and TurboTax, I could have saved my customers and me a LOT of money and time.
What's great about it: Easy To Use. Foolproof
What's not so great: Having to scroll down is a bit tiresome

Easy and quick

Overall it's a great little tool and I plan to use it next year.
What's great about it: It was easy to use and I finished state and federal taxes in under 3 hours
What's not so great: I live in a state that uses RITA for local taxes, and turbotax is not at all helpful with that section
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Turbo Tax allows me to enter all of my information and provides assistance in understanding those things I do not understand. This makes the process so much easier!
The greatest part of Turbo Tax is that they will find deductions for you that you may not have known. What a fabulous idea and program!!! Worth the money!

There seems to be real improvements in the State/local part. In past years the local turbo tax information was inaccurate, and I needed to separately calculate and prepare Lansing Michigan tax returns. For the first time I think i'll be able to use the turbo tax Lansing version.
What's great about it: Very helpful to have pulled in the information from previous years.

I've saved loads of money by not going to a tax person. They asked the same questions as TurboTax...but at a much higher cost. I also feel as though I am in control of my life, not someone else. I take that very seriously.
What's great about it: I've been using TurboTax for years with no problems.

Been using for years, tried going to a tax guy a couple of years ago - spent more money and had the same refund as using Turbotax
