Smooth tax return filling

This year turbo tax was much better than last year. Turbo Tax continue to make it easier to file your tax return. Loved the help section on the right side when ever you need more explanation. Very easy to use and it didn't take too much time to finish my taxes and filed it.

What's not so great: No cons. I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and it gets easier every year.

Have used TurboTax for years. It has been consistent in ease of use, flexibility, and completeness. Ideal for the individual whose income is from salary and investments.
What's great about it: Ease and Flexibility of Use. Completeness
What's not so great: Constant inserts trying to squeeze more money out of me

Don't like paying extra for state filing

I think that the packaging and changes to require payment for the state filing are not the way to handle this. I don't like surprises and I want to know my costs upfront. I don't appreciate the way the charges are setup.

Stress Reliever

Doing my taxes is always an extremely stressful task for me. Using Turbo Tax helps to relieve a great deal of that stress and put this behind me for the year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, good explanations
What's not so great: Had to keep scrolling to the bottom of the screen after completing each income/deduction section
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

seems like 2012 deluxe had one free state efile

Turbo tax is very easy to use and the deluxe is all that many people will need. I may be wrong, but I thought that the deluxe version included one free state efile in years past. If that is true, then the additional $20.00 makes it a little less of a value from the other software.
What's great about it: very intuitive ; I feel confident that nothing was missed.
What's not so great: lack of one free state efile.

Very thorough and helpful in filing ever more complex tax returns. I use TurboTax every year.
