User Friendly Return Process

Overall....so easy and informative. I will continue to use each year. Print instructions and filing instructions make this a breeze.
What's great about it: Simple language and recommendations
What's not so great: Updates not that easy to obtain

Continued Great Tax Prep

I've used Turbo Tax for several years and have been very pleased with the results...my returns are always prepared accurately and easily. I tried a competitor one year but was not happy with their service so I returned to Turbo Tax the next year and have stayed with them ever since. The program may cost a few dollars more than others but believe me it is worth it.
What's great about it: Easy, thorough, accurate, efficient, up to date.
What's not so great: None

Nearly 15 years of excellent tax management

I have been using Turbo Tax forever and it has never let me down. In fact, I did my niece's return and it resolved a non-resident issue so that she got all of her paid taxes returned. I am comfortable with Turbo Tax knowing help is just a click away. So as long as Uncle Sam keeps this process complicated, I will be using Turbo Tax. Of course, if taxes weren't complicated, I would not need Turbo Tax.
My favorite part is that I can sit in the comfort of my home and get all this stuff done. My second favorite part is that it is inexpensive compared to a tax accountant.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Gets harder as your tax situation gets more complicated

Overall good experience.
I noted two problems:
I was unable to read the PDF of last year's tax return prepared with Turbo Tax. I had to enter the data manually.
I found it difficult to find where to enter direct deposit information into the return. I finally had to edit the actual form. I expected easy step to ask for this information.

Easy as Pie

I've used this software for years now. TurboTax is super easy to use, and has helped get my family and I the refunds we are looking for. I love how it walks you through every piece in the easy guide portion just in case you forget about something you are reminded of it there.
What's great about it: TurboTax walks you through everything easy
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

I had trouble opening TurboTax

For the first time ever, I had trouble with TurboTax. I had installed it the first time and worked on my return. I saved it to work on it at a later day. I then encountered an error opening the program ( sorry didn't write it down) and this compelled me to un/reinstall it. Then it worked. I never had that happen before. I find this to be more than a coincidence since I just upgraded to Quicken 2014 and have had trouble with that program as well. Is Intuit falling down in the quality assurance department?
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Very few except trouble re-opening program

I find Turbo Tax to be reasonably easy and effiecient. I have recommended your software many times.
What's great about it: Continues to be reasonably easy to use.
What's not so great: Other Income Tax Software Programs offer FREE State Filing
