Very easy to use for the average person without a lot of income/deductions to consider. If I fell in to that bracket, I may pay to have my taxes done.
What's great about it: easy to do after 1st time through
What's not so great: zip

It was easy to understand and complete the required information. I appreciated that it makes all suggestions regarding both income and deductions. Things I would not have included on my own.
What's great about it: Easy to understand what information is required
What's not so great: Lack of suggestions for keeping files in the coming year.

2013 TurboTax

The tax software is easy to use, but printing is not easy. I'm using a new computer with Windows 8 and then upgraded to Windows 8.1. A few pages will print and then the printer quits and sends an error. At first I thought it was my old printer and possible driver problems. I went out and bought a new printer and now experience the same behavior. I believe it's a software issue, either with Windows or TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to follow steps!
What's not so great: Printing is laborious.

You need to be more up to date on Montana State Taxes....if I didn't know the tax rules, I would end up paying out a lot of money when I get a refund! Also, why is my only option for saving my refund is PDF and then next years tax program won't pull it up?
What's great about it: Federal is fairly easy to do
What's not so great: Montana State Taxes are always wrong when I do it on Turbo Tax

You guys do a good job of simplifying an ever increasingly difficult thing - filing your taxes. I like the way you just ask regular questions and don't get into a lot of tax and legal wording. I would recommend your software to anyone that asks.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I like Turbo Tax. It makes filing my taxes easy and convenient. I can always go back after I collect the necessary information to help reduce my tax.
What's great about it: Like being walked through forms. Questions help a lot. Explanations of items is right no the money.
What's not so great: More items on the donated items list.

Overall deserves an "B" rating, however:
I was unable to edit/delete an erroneous entry I made for the cost of uniform shirts. I treid every option available several times and went to "help" as well, never receiving a reply. As such, my filing now has incorrect data that I could not alter. Because it's only a $100 error I'm not that concerned, however, if there's a mechanism for editing or deleting said entry, it should be made more clear as to it's location.
Also, didn't like the surprise fee for e-file of state return. I guess when purchasing the Federal & State Returns I should have read the small print (i.e. plus Federal E-File). Slick move! I will bear that in mind for next year and simpy transport from federal return numbers to a paper copy for state return, and save $20.
What's great about it: Basically simple to follow, step by step directions
What's not so great: See Review
