can't file state

It is absolutely impossible to file MN state. You can run the program, but it forces you to file state by mail. The program won't do it, and it won't really tell you why. Frustrating!!!
What's great about it: WAS easy to use

Most Excellent Refund!

Have used TurboTax for over 20 years. Haven't had to pay for an accountant in over 20 years. Takes me less time now than it did when I used an accountant. What's not to like!

Finished Taxes !!

Have used Turbo Tax regularly and have little problems. Mostly when I failed to enter a dollar amount that I omitted and IRS notified me. All went fine with Turbo Tax Fed + State but doing taxes are time consuming. Turbo Tax makes it easier to finish and file especially with last years tax info imported.
What's great about it: Liked specific questions and listed boxes to find info and last year's tax info imported
What's not so great: Not easy to manage complicated situations

Excellent Product

Great product. My taxes are very complicated, and the ability to directly download financial data directly from my financial institutions makes it worth the cost of TurboTax.
I would prefer to see the actual entries on the tax forms more easily. In the summaries, TurboTax lists amounts that have been entered instead of the amounts that go to the tax forms. I think it's more important to see exactly what will go to the tax forms instead of what has been entered.
What's great about it: Download from Major Financial Institutions
What's not so great: Not easy enough to find the actual entries on tax forms

What's great about it: Detailed ye simplified, many examples to lead you.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax Delux was simple to install and set up on my computer and did not conflict with any other programs I have running, including security service. Simple to get started with and easy to use; stop whenever you want and start back up again in the same place.
It found more places that I had manually to enter deductions and saved me the cost of the program in tax refund!
A good buy!
