overall the program was good I used Turbo Tax for the past 3 years but for some reason i was unable to populate this return with the past returns. the help section was no help at all for this problem.
Just sayin....
What's great about it: fairly qick and easy
What's not so great: couldn't upload my previous returns

Got that extra dollar!

Turbo Tax has allowed me to complete my own taxes each year without having to pay an accountant. I have confidence that I'm not missing any little loop holes or extra deductions.
What's great about it: Easily walked me thru each step.

only issue on this return program for me is that the data entry screens/panels should be one screen fitted to the display - scrolling down to enter additional data is a hassle for me.
What's great about it: simple return, ran fine

This is my fifth year using TurboTax. I continue to be pleased with the cost to value ratio of this product.
What's great about it: Lightning fast calculations, good community support.
What's not so great: Still a few spots where the instructions are a little murky

One of the biggest challenges I had was dealing with investment accounts that my wife has.
With the latest software, even at the Deluxe version, having that ability has been a real time saver.

Like I said my first time efiling. I did not know how much time to wait on the filing email, but I do not. I did my taxes and just did not go on through all the efile instructions duh! The instructions are certainly there and I filed mine today without any problem.
What's great about it: Instructions on exactly what to do when. First time efile.
What's not so great: None
