My taxes are very basic so I can't comment on it's effectiveness in more difficult situations.
What's great about it: easy
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Peasy

I love Turbo Tax...I was able to complete my taxes in one evening, the same night I received my W2's from work. I had a tiny glitch, was able to call TT and speak to a rep who solved the issue and stayed on the phone until my taxes e-filed. The last two years were a nightmare trying to file as CA RDP, big nightmare, but this year being single it is back to normal. Not sure how it is different from RDP & being married, but I am glad to be single again!!
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions guide you
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to find specific answers
