Great Until the End

Most of the process is good. Entering everything is fine, and straightforward with minimal problems or misunderstandings. The definitions for things are also clear and help to put things where they need to go. They also help answer a question correctly. However, there were added fees that were not there before, and obviously are never mentioned. By the time you're finished you might as well have done it with a tax professional and not wasted money on the program.
What's great about it: Straighforward
What's not so great: Tacks on Fees
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great way to do taxes!

Really love using Turbo Tax. It allows me to understand what I'm doing through the step by step screens. Filing electronically is also helpful so no need to print and mail.
What's great about it: User friendly, guides you through every step, checks all errors
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

As I am getting older it would be nice if there would be a planning section where you could run a mock return with projected income or an information tab on how different situation would affect taxes (i.e one spouse retired and other still working and how to fiqure taxes for this situation)
What's great about it: Easy to use, Thorough, Transfer of info saves time

Its cheap and accurate. I will soon be working in Panama and will use turbotax to do foreign earned income. Hope it works out.
What's great about it: It's easy and cheaper than the tax stores, i.e. Jackson Hewitt

Always a Good Experience

I have been using TurboTax for at least seven years now. I like how it brings in all your info from the previous year, saving a lot of data entry. I also like how it guides you through the process "turning over every stone" looking for opportunities to save you money. The process is easy, but does take some time due to the thoroughness of the questions. I like doing my own taxes and having control over the information.
What's great about it: Thorough Process
What's not so great: Takes a bit more time than going to a preparer

Makes Life Easy

This wonderful program, which I have been using for more than ten years, helps me remember things I would ordinarily forget when filing my taxes. I probably can't count the number of headaches the program has saved me from.
What's great about it: Taxes are a breeze with Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Late Updates, but not the fault of Turbo Tax
