Trouble with e-filing

Took a very long time to e-file and we couldn't stop it to discover the problem

Got taxes Done!!

Great option if you don't want to pay someone else to do your taxes for you. Pretty much covered anything and everything that you would need to file for and a little more. Will use again if given the choice.
What's great about it: Solid Tax Software
What's not so great: Nothing Really

This makes the umpteenth consecutive year I've used Turbo Tax to file my federal return. It just keeps getting easier to do. What more could you ask for.

Better than last year

Though I couldn't get the electronic W-2 to work I was able to complete the entire return, all deductibles and all exemptions as well as tax credits, in an evening, about two hours.
What's great about it: Faster deductible schedules
What's not so great: Importing W-2 is still difficult to find and figure out.

I am a CPA and knowing taxes myself I can say that Turbo tax is one of the most simplest and easiest tax software around. You don't need to be a CPA or even an accountant to file tax returns using Turbo Tax. Definitely recommended!!!!

Got my money's worth, but could there be more?

TurboTax worked well enough for me, it especially maximized my itemized deductions. I wasn't quite satisfied with the energy efficiency credits interface. I had a new roof installed in 2013, which included a solar attic fan. The only information I had available was the total cost of the roof, but the help topics seemed ambigous to me on what portion of the cost I should enter to get the calculations started. However, I tried getting detailed information from the roofing company, but they only had the same information that I already had.
What's great about it: Most steps were clear, fairly easy to use.
What's not so great: Lacked information on energy efficiency credits
