Easy to Understand

Turbo Tax is the least complicated way to file annual tax returns. I would like to see the form itself as it is being filled out. Seeing them afterward is a bit confusing.
What's great about it: Walks you right through the process
What's not so great: Can't see forms being filled out until the end

Hope it rocked my refund

Turbo Tax is fairly easy to follow, but the one time that I needed to ask a question, I needed to sign in with an ID and password, which of course, I couldn't remember from last year when I must have created an account. I wasted so much time trying to get that info (kept giving me my ID, which I knew),and when I gave up, it wouldn't allow me to create another account., so I had to guess passwords and finally I was directed to change my password.
If I can do it, then most anyone can! I am very technologically challenged!

Basics good, frustration unnecessary

Overall, helpful application. I have used it for years so am pretty used to the advantages. Intuit need to fix the weaknesses:
1. When last year's data is referenced in the detail screens, need to be able to easily get the sources of same.
2. Data rolled from Federal to state does not say WHERE it came from.
3. There is an interface/load problem with Vanguard which resulted in each investment treated as an investment company, and did not load Tax Exempt Interest and Divs.
4. There are bugs in those screens displaying after error check which resisted accepting the state code.

2013 TurboTax comments

I wish that you would change the "done" button so that you do not need to go down to the bottom of the page to go to the next screen. I work on a netbook which requires me to go to the sidebar, go down to the bottom of the page and then hunt for and click the done button. It is never on the same screen portion that I am working on. How difficult would it be to have it be part of the sidebar, that portion of the screen is essentially useless anyhow. Thanks in advance!
What's great about it: Easier to put onto two computers for the family.
What's not so great: The "done" button, have hated it for years.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Amazing, as always

Fantastic product; smooth as butter. Well worth the price and saves you the heartache of arithmetic mistakes; plus, the program finds all the deductions you're eligible for.
What's great about it: It gets easier by the year. Makes tax filing as fun as tax filing gets!
What's not so great: I'm surprised at how smoothly it's gone for the past 10 years or so that I worry I may be making a mistake.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
