Good, but needs improvement

I like the step by step approach and the "Explain this" feature which has gotten much better than in past years. This really makes the form filling go easy. It is still up to the individual to gather all the proper information, and that will never change.
I do not like the bugs I experience each year. This year, the software would not do automatic updates which have never been a problem before. I had to do manual updates, and that was a pain, especially for the state returns. I also did not like the software trying to force me to create an e-PIN when I mail my return to the IRS.

i started on one day.but did not e-file. came back on another day and went right back to were I left off. then finished it off.

We and our son share a Turbo Tax software program. It would be great if two families could e-file for free.

My review of the Taxes said that I needed a forms update. After 20 days of updating and trying the online system I was ready to use another Tax Program. It was Form 1040 and Schedule A that was bad and I updated each time it told me that the forms were updated. They were still bad. I finally got to a person and she had me delete the program, re-load it and re-update it, it was good then.
What's great about it: Support was there when I needed it
What's not so great: Trying to get a PERSON to talk to

Turbo Tax...my hero!

From my single days to my married days...Turbo Tax has never let me down. Can rely on it for accurate taxes and quick refunds.
What's great about it: Quick form to form use.

The only way to do you taxes

I have been using it for 6-7 years now, and don't see using anything else (unless I get 6 very good numbers).
The way it walks you through everything is very good. The donation appraiser is worth way more than the cost of the program all by itself.
What's great about it: easy, very easy
What's not so great: a few explanations are weak

Reduces tax time stress by 80%

TurboTax saves the family sanity. It takes a whole lot less time for taxes than it did before we started using tax programs. I would recommend TurboTax to everybody.
What's great about it: Turbotax does all the arithmetic and answers all those oddly worded questions.
What's not so great: Takes a while to get through all of it
