Used to be a great tax program? what happened ?

used to be great. not anymore. wouldn't give me an IRA
worksheet for NJ. I had to override some numbers. then it screws up both the fed. & NJ. after 12 or more years, it's time for me to look at other programs. this TurboTax breaks my chops too much.

What's great about it: fast & easy most of the time.

Ever since I started using TurboTax from Intuit I've come to trust it and truly everyone can do it, it's that easy!
What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions.
What's not so great: Honestly I haven't found anything major that is unfixeable.

Refund Reality

Turbo tax is an affordable way for everyone to do taxes and feel confident they are getting each area input correctly and getting the best possible refund. I have had a problem in the past with going back to review an area and Turbo Tax will delete what was put there originally and I did not realize that had happened. It would be better to just leave what was there and have people change it if needed.
What's great about it: Clearer instructions than ever before!
What's not so great: When returning to a section will sometimes delete what was there and will not always ask the same questions.

What's great about it: Easy to file.
What's not so great: Should have Turbo Tax Basic for Federal and State. Too expensive.

A No Brainer

Turbo Tax is so easy to use and understand that, an elementary school student could complete their parents taxes for them with the W-2's and other tax documents provided for them.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Easy to use year after year

I have been using Turbotax for 10+ YEARS. Initially my husband had his own business & I had to input his business income and expenses - Turbotax made it easy. With just a small business income now & W-2's Turbotax makes filing taxes so, so easy. I found the product has improved over the years. My kids are older now & have used the product, too. I highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Personal info is transferred from the previous year. Turbotax takes you step by step through the process.
What's not so great: There are some special forms that are not included.
