16 years using Turbo Tax (MacIn Tax)

I have been using Turbo Tax (MacIn Tax) since 1998. It has always made me feel better about doing my taxes. I really like that the program will take the fact that I am a teacher into account and ask me if I spent any of my own money on my class. It does this with other information as well.
What's great about it: Keeps my taxes simple
What's not so great: I've not seen any for me

Good, worked with some glitches

Overall my experience was good. The federal return was very detailed and the explanations for different categories were very clear. The state return did not seem to have any of the "what is this" links. I had multiple errors when transferring information from federal to state, and the error messages lacked detail to resolve the issues. The support message board worked within a couple hours though and got me back on track. Glad I'm not trying this last minute though.
What's great about it: Very detailed, the federal return had great explanations and worked very well
What's not so great: The state return was glitchy and lacked explanations

2012 return did not transfer to 2013 return

I was informed I needed to have the save user ID and password as last year to transfer information. Guess what, I was informed of this after I changed my password. So I came back to 2012 to change the password so I could use have the program transfer information for me. I will see if it will work and I will let you know.
What's great about it: easy to do for the most part
What's not so great: did not save 2012 to 2013 as promised unless I use the same password

RELIEF 2013

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I find it to be very thorough in guiding me, a layman, through all of the possible items which might be involved in my return. The explanations are good and clear. I feel confident when it's time to file.

Turbo Tax 2013 review

Using Turbo Tax was quick, efficient and the items were well-organized. While enhancements are made each year, it maintains enough continuity from year to year so that one does not have a big learning curve to get started.
