Can't Fix My Error

I chose Alabama as my state to file. I've lived in Ohio my whole life and file every year in Ohio. This year a hit Alabama by mistake. I called TurboTax for help. The lady was most helpful. She downloaded Ohio for free, but I assume the software would not allow her to delete Alabama. I had to work around this during my TurboTax input and filing.
What's great about it: Wonderful way to do my taxes.
What's not so great: Software wouldn't allow the removal of a state filing I selected in error.

Tedious Job Made Easier!!

There was an instance in this year's program where I had to re-enter some information that had already been entered. This occurred during the review process.
What's great about it: Transfer info from previous year and also into your state return
What's not so great: Nothing major

New and not so improved

I have used turbo tax online for several years. Easy to have all prior info available. This year I did not like many of the changes. The screen prompts you to answer a question, but if you don't understand, you can't look at the form to make sure you got the info entered correctly.
Also, I spent 4+ hours working on a glitch where turbo tax asks you to scroll and enter info, but will not let you enter amount. Talked to several turbo tax people through chat and phone. Finally had to stop working online. It should not have taken this long for me, with the help of experts, to enter the info on one line.
Other years I have given Turbo Tax 5 stars. This year 2. Turbo Tax- go back to last year's set up.
What's great about it: Always fast at uploading previous years info
What's not so great: Can't look at the forms in online version, confusing this year

Finally getting the hang of this

I've used TurboTax for years now and I believe that the product is refined enough now to help just about anyone. My situation is different from most. I'm a transportation worker and have additional tax problems to deal with. Turbo covers just about everything. My wife has dividend income that takes time to enter because I don't trust my numbers in Quicken. That being said, a suggestion might be made to allow immediate manual entry, rather than ask the question after two manual inputs. Fast, effective, easy. Now, how about a program to update a W-4 after one finishes ones taxes?
