Review for accuracy needs improving

The audit review seems to miss things.
In auditing our return, we had entered our Long Term Health Care in 2 places and Turbo Tax said we had no errors. BUT we thought this was wrong so we went to the IRS site and discovered this was a $300 error.

What's great about it: Step by step worked well.
What's not so great: At first we entered Long Term Health Care in 2 places and not caught

Overall very good. Thank you. Struggled with the box 2a marked unknown. But you got me somehow thru it.
What's great about it: Overall simplistic. Loved the review and audit portion
What's not so great: Tough on CSA 1099 2a Unknown on using simple calcuation

I have a fairly complex return and can use TurboTax without much effort. I did do my own return by hand for many years prior to switching to TurboTax, which I suspect helps me understand the process a little better. My son started using it on my recommendation after he started doing his own taxes, however, and also says that he can work his way through the process without to much anguish!
What's great about it: Consistent form from year to year - I have now been using Turbo Tax for more than 10 years and do not have to relearn it
What's not so great: None for Turbo Tax, just for how complex the tax system has become. No longer understand it.

It was a little cumbersome to go back to review some items, but overall I am satisfied with the Step by Step approach.
What's great about it: Leads you through step by step, so nothing is forgotten
What's not so great: A little time cosuming
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Soooo Easy

Our daughter and son-in-law have used Turbo Tax for years and finally last year we tried it. We were very pleasantly surprised and wondered why we had used the "pros" and paid the high prices for so long. Live and learn. Thanks for being there TurboTax and Intuit.
What's great about it: Removed the fear of filing so what's not to love.
What's not so great: None so far.

Had a few areas (ie. Head of household) where I needed to go back and manually update. I would have left a lot of money on the table had I not picked up on 'default' status
What's great about it: User friendly for the most part
What's not so great: Had to go back and manually file status (head of household)
