Love Turbo Tax

Have used Turbo tax for years. It makes it easy to do taxes. I do taxes for several family members and have not had any problems. I used a CPA two different times during my marriage.
Both times had to file a corrected return because they missed things. I have never done that when using Turbo Tax.,

Easy Tax Preparation

We've used Turbo Tax for many years. Very good tax preparation software. Always easy thanks to guided entry of information. We also like the fact that past years' information is brought forward to current year. Saves time.

Since I started using Turbo Tax, tax filing is fun. I wouldn't do taxes any other way.

Speedtaxing

Going through the process is pretty simple. Especially if you've used it in the past. It brings all the user information from the previous program. This years program had a few glitches with being used on Win 8.1, but the workarounds or updates, took care of them.
Would be nice if there was a way to simply update last years program (for a nominal fee), as opposed to buying a whole new program every year........

Easy to uuse, but...

Why does TurboTax request that medical deductions be entered in a number of different categories that are not supported by Quicken? Or, conversely, why does TurboTax require a detailed breakdown not supported by Quicken. This conundrum has been outstanding for a number of years without any response (that I have found in the forums) from Intuit.
What's great about it: Simple, straightforward, complete
What's not so great: Why can't Intuit get the medical deductions sections of Quicken and TurboTax to correspond.
