How to apply refund to next year tax not clear

Choosing to apply a refund to next year's tax. This step is not easy to find nor logically placed. Everything else is easy to use but this could be improved.
also, entering the i.d. information for the state return was not clear. The return can be filed with this section not complete and thereby causing a rejection. It seems that the return should not be transmitted unless the i.d. information is complete.
What's great about it: Everything else seemed easy to use

Another thorough, quick and easy filing

I have filed myself with Turbotax for years and find it convenient and economical. Turbotax can handle most peoples situations and has an incredible reputation and credibility to protect which gives me great confidence in the product. It would take quite a bit of increased complexity of my tax situation for me to feel like I had to switch to a professional accountant.
What's great about it: Guided through the process means I won't miss anything

Get Easier and Easier

Seems as a Senior, my goals are to simplify my life. I have used this product for many years (I've lost track) and each year, when I insert my new disc, I am excited to find that the software is easier and easier to use. I remember the maze of paperwork and forms I had to amass in the old days, and I'm so glad I made the decision to go with TurboTax when I did. I especially like the ways it quickly finds and scoops in last year's files. This saves me a lot of data entry and as I work thru the categories, I can compare this year's figures with last years. This is a great aid in reminding me of anything unusual in last year's return.
Also appreciate how clean and simple the various input pages are. I always hated working on the busy paper forms, and your methodology spreads all those questions out, attacking one at a time. I thought this year was the best ever for me, but with my life getting simpler, so are the items I have to report.
Keep up the good work.

What's great about it: Quick, helpful, streamlined; Imports previous year's data; clean simple page designs aid data entry. E filing is Fab
What's not so great: A bit confusing with so many categories that do not apply. Maybe assurance that ignored items won't prevent filing.

I have used Turbo Tax for about 15 years and will continue to purchase it. I don't think any of your competitors can match your product.

You're the tops!

This is the best tax program I have ever used. It is easy to navigate and go back if it needs correcting. I don't use any other program but Turbo Tax. I stick with what I trust.
What's great about it: Easily navagated
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great tax product

I've been using turbo tax since 1988 when it came on a series of floppy discs and, unlike the current trend for software that seems to increase in complexity, Turbo Tax actually seems to get even more user friendly.
Very rarely do I rave about a software product, but Turbo Tax is the exception. My thanks to everyone at Turbo Tax for making tax time during the past 25 years as enjoyable as anything like this can be!
