Easy as pie

Overall excellent
What's great about it: easy to use, mostly good explanations
What's not so great: For newly retired, doesn't ask enough about Social Security
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So not a reflection of TurboTax which was truly excellent...two improvements: my forms from my state kept getting pushed out further and further from an availability. I was ready to file on 2/2/14. I had to wait until 2/27/14. I liked all the free tax information because I learned a great deal. There other improvement is state refund questions - it asked me about my state income & we file jointly but it asked about mine & then hers- very confused.That line #1 on state is a total of both incomes, so not sure why it asks that question. As it is a total of both incomes & not an individual amount. So we were worried that we did something wrong.
What's great about it: Audit protection, accuracy, error checking, lots of information
What's not so great: Lots of information, availability of forms, confusion on State Form for total income earned

I have been using TurboTax for several years so by now I am well trained using it. Keep it the way it is consistently with changes in IRS rules.
