I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR THE LAST FIVE YEARS AND HAVE FOUND IT TO BE THE BEST WAY TO DO TAXES. EASY, AT HOME, REFUND IN MY CHECKING ACCOUNT.....
What's great about it: PERFECT!
What's not so great: WOULD LIKE TO SEE PREVIOUS YEAR MORE

Turbo Tax Saves Me So Much Time

We love TURBO TAX. It is fast, accurate, and detailed enough that I can learn about and check my work if I want. Whenever I have something new to include, I can make sure it goes in the
right place and then see how TT treats it.
Although I always try to get all info in order before I start and go logically through the tax forms, there is always something I've missed that requires re-calculation. Turbo-tax does the calculation instantly. Such a time-saver.

What's great about it: Saves time, especially with inter-related calculations, the nightmare of all tax filers!
What's not so great: One problem this yr only--business income didn't appear on the page after I filled forms out, but it did on final form.

I've been using Turbo Tax for quite a while now and will continue to do so unless I marry (or move in with) a professional tax professional who can do it for me for free.

Easy as Always!

Once again a great tool for doing something I dread! Turbo tax guides me each year through the maze of tax requirements(i.e. education and multiple employers). I've been using it for 10 years and it keeps getting better! Thanks for getting rid of the talking people you had in previous years, that told me what I knew already.
BTW the nickname field almost forced me to delete this review, don't make it mandatory! Give an option to use initials instead!!!!
What's great about it: Quick walk through of what I needed
What's not so great: Had to update halfway through...should be done at outset
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

1. for W4/Estimated taxes review for year ahead, a clearer choice option would be helpful. this was not clear. should be a choice for user to pick either W4 or Estimated taxes.
2. when looking for help, FAQ's never had answers. frustrating.
