I had extreme issues with my computer, and Lisa, who helped me for over two hours, was patient and positive. I could not have finished my returns without her excellent help. She not only helped me resolve my TurboTax problem, but also my computer problem.

The state calculation when completed gives two different calculated amounts with the same data. This lead me to not use Turbo Tax State.
What's great about it: Fast, complete
What's not so great: Accuracy of State calculation is very questionable, inaccurate.

Used Turbo Tax for over 10 years, great product.
What's great about it: Ease of use, understandable language to help complete topics.
What's not so great: One confusing request and explaination on NJ State return.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Over all a good program, but I would like to be able to edit those items that I mistakenly overlooked the first time through.
What's great about it: Easy to walk through when I had all my documentation close at hand.
What's not so great: I inadvertently overlooked over half of my volunteer trips and milage and could not return to that workpage.

Sweat the Details!

As usual, the program is functionally superior, allowing quick and accurate filing of my taxes. However, this year, selection bubbles were faint and difficult to determine whether items were selected or not. Had to go back repeatedly and select/deselect bubbles what wouldn't select/deselect when routed inappropriately on subsequent pages. The graphics should be the easy part, I'd think.
I'm on a Mac using VMware and the Windows version of TurboTax, using Windows 7. Mac OS 10.9.1 and VMware 6.0.2.
What's great about it: Excellent functionality, as usual!
What's not so great: Input graphics (bubbles) were terrible!
Pros: I bought or sold investments

A difficult process - simplified!

I've been using TurboTax for over ten years and it has improved each time I use it. I have been retired for over four years now and the ability of TurboTax to electronically download the neccessary data directly from my Investment Company accounts to the correct forms has really simplified my life. The final check/review process provides a feeling of confidence that once I submit my return electronically - I'm done!
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step process including explanations.
What's not so great: Asked several times if I wanted to complete state returns - my state doesn't have them.
