Love To Pay Taxes!!

Very Good Software for Taxes. 1099 INT forms can be tricky so TurboTax should offer maybe a worksheet on the side. Some 1099 INT questions are also bit confusing. Overall, excellent tax software. Love direct imports of information from companies for W2 and institutions for incomes. Did not see direct imports from the deductions though.
What's great about it: Thorough, Friendly, Maximizing Refunds
What's not so great: Need Better Assistance for 1099 INT B Forms with worksheet on the side

The only tax program to use! I looked at my Son in laws HR Block one and nowhere near as easy to use.
The way it guides you through just makes you feel comfortable that all is right. I even LIKE doing my taxes with this great program.

l have been doing my own taxes for years, but with the complexity of constantly changing tax laws, was very unsure if I was filing correctly. I feel much more secure in the fact that I can enter all the numbers of what I know will effect my tax return and know they are entered in the appropriate places. Thank you Turbotax.

Fast and Accurate

If you have just basic tax items (wages, interest, home mortgage, education expenses and student loan interest) Turbo Tax will take you right through everything. If you have all your paperwork gathered and ready to go it will take less than one hour. This is my 10th year using Turbo Tax. Love it.
What's great about it: Clear explanations in each section
What's not so great: That I don't get more money back...not your fault though!

Only Way to File

I have used Turbo Tax every year for over 10 years. I recommend it to everyone I know. Its easy to use and always gets me the best return. Why waste money going to a "tax place" when you can do it yourself and get the best results! I started using Turbo Tax while I was in the military. I found that using the free services never got me a great return. Filing fees & software cost are well worth the purchase when you see the benefits. I help all my family with their taxes because its so easy using Turbo Tax. They are amazed at their returns also. This year I purchased Audit Protection for the extra comfort. I know I couldn't afford to fight the IRS if I ever got audited but with audit protection, I have no worries, and less stress knowing I'm already covered! Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: easy as pie
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good Features for processing

I did not have any problems with my 2012 return for entering 1099R info for military retirement and having the Oregon State exemption for 'service' before 1991 but it was more difficult for my 2013 return in which category 'Qualified' or unqualified for my military service. If I select unqualified as suggested by Turbo Tax, I do not get the Oregon Tax exemption applied to my return.
From everything I can find out my military service before 1991 should be allowed for the exemption.

Fourth year using Turbo Tax. Easy, convenient and helps me feel comfortable that my return is properly filed.
What's great about it: Able to review your entries and return as many times as needed before finalizing.

Turbo tax is the best, from my perspective. It is efficient, current for any changes, and helps educate the taxpayer.
What's great about it: quick and leverages last years info
What's not so great: potentially requesting more fees
