Make it easier to avoid printing unnecessary forms such as instructions, welcome page, thank you page, etc.
Also---there is a Maryland volunteer tax break that only applies to EMT's and certain Coast Guard people. Other volunteers need to understand that they are not eligible for this tax break ($3,500). So there should be some type of statement to that effect in that particular section. I had to go to the internet to find this out. I erroneously thought I was entitled to it.
What's great about it: Simple and Easy to use
What's not so great: Hard to not overprint unnecessary paper (Instructions, etc.)

7th Year User, Loves TT

Have used for seven years, and love the programs. I'm your advocate and totally in favor of using TT for personal taxes. Clear, understandable, easy to use; especially love the 'how much is my donation worth' function.
What's great about it: easy to follow, do 'what-Ifs', start, stop, re-do, update, file, etc., etc., etc.
What's not so great: uh, can't think of any!!!

Greatest Tax Program

I've been using Turbo Tax for Years. Now, most of my family uses it to. Its so simple. Who knows better than you, what transpired last year? And, if you're not sure, help is just a click away!
What's great about it: Easy, Safe, Reliable, Simple!!

fast and easy

I think this is a great product. it gives me all the deductions that I could hope for and then some that I wouldn't have known about. It gives me piece of mind, knowing what my risk is of beign audited in the future. it is also very cost effective, compared to some of the other tax review options available.
What's great about it: easy to understand, walked me through all steps fast easily worded to help me understand
What's not so great: didn't have all the tax updates on file for the investment portion of the filing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Overall, a great value and relatively easy to use!
What's great about it: Being able to ask TurboTax and the "community" for help gets you quick and accurate answers to any questions.
What's not so great: Technical answers can be confusing because the downloaded and online programs differ, as well as Mac and PC.)

Less stable than last year

I had Turbo Tax crash 4 times on me. 3 times while trying to print my return, both before & after e-file. The program seems slow, but overall probably faster than if I did them by hand like I used to. And it does the worksheet calculations much faster than I would.
What's great about it: Faster and less worrysome than doing them by hand
What's not so great: Crashed 4 times. Constantly updating refund amount made me question if I entered thins right.

TurboTax is great, easy to use. Not sure how I'd do my own taxes without it!
What's great about it: step by step easy to enter; switching to forms easy to see impact of entry and to drill down on cells to see where from
What's not so great: none
