Easy to use

I've used this program for years and its always easy and efficient. Love the step by step guidance.
What's great about it: step by step guidance
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used TurboTax for six or seven years. I find it easy to use and am able to use the helps when I'm not sure what info I need. Keep up the good work. You save me a lot of money because I could never do my taxes by myself.
What's great about it: Very helpful
What's not so great: none

In selling your primary home, the following sequence of required events should be on same page, e.g.
* Where did you live on October 1st
* Date of Settlement
* Where did you live on December 31st
* Where do you live now
* Where did you live on October 1st
* Date of Settlement
* Where did you live on December 31st
* Where do you live now
There was no explanation as to why a bank's Safekeeping deposit box was no longer a deduction.
What's great about it: Easier to follow and less anxiety because the next steps were prefaced with "what's coming next".
What's not so great: Special issues like selling your primary home could have some improvement by indicating "what's coming Next".
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Better than expected

Kind of redundant from years past of deductions. need to find more.
What's great about it: quick filings process
What's not so great: would like to find more deductions, or how keep records of what i should save to increase my return.

Turbo Tax is IT!!

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 8 years and have been extremely pleased. Since that time I have helped at least a dozen others with their Turbo Tax experience and all received their appropriate refunds. To think I used to pay a CPA for dealing with my returns for so many years. I wouldn't doubt that the CPA's are using Turbo Tax too!!

Great tool, saves me a ton of money

My education expense was disallowed but I only got a general reason for the disallowance. I had to google IRS website to fully understand why it was disallowed. If Turbo Tax is going to disallow, it should explain in detail why.
What's great about it: walks me through each step
What's not so great: sometimes hard to find an answer when a deduction isn't allowed

We have been a user of Turbo Tax for over 15 years and we like having control knowing what information is put into our taxes, that its easy to follow, inexpensive and convenient.
What's great about it: easy to follow, almost foolproof, inexpensive and convienent
What's not so great: doesnt offer tax advice such as if you put $### into a retirement account it would save you $###
