What's great about it: user friendly
What's not so great: nothing

EXTREME DIFFICULTY!

Next year fix the bugs. Make it easy and logical to use. Go back to 2012 TurboTax. 2013 was a pain in the butt for a lot of users.
What's great about it: Generally user friendly. Explanations helpful.
What's not so great: Almost impossible to upload new changes! It also didn't print my state taxes!

Concise but comprehensive

I've been using TurboTax since 2008, and never had a problem with it. The only thing I ever disliked was using the online version, which was as slow as molasses. That was years ago, though, and may be different now. Since then I've bought the program and loaded it on my PC. Love it!
What's great about it: All entries are available to review. Only files necessary forms. Knowledge of all tax laws.

I keep using TurboTax so I obviously appreciate how it helps me. My one complaint is the confusion in sub-menus in income and, to a lesser extent, deductions. The menus seemed to confuse (or equate) 1099-Misc income with business income, and there was not a linear path back and forth as the details for each played out.
What's great about it: It accounts for more variables than I could.
What's not so great: Confusion in sub-menus for income and deductions.

I found TuurboTax to be very easy to use. I have used it for 10 years.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: didn't find my 2012 info
