I've always used TurboTax because its simple to use with plain straight forward language that most people can understand, and if there's something you're not sure of, click the "Explain it" button.

The report shows 4-blank 1099DIV than I have and no way to delete them. This shows the review to have errors and the State to have errors.
What's great about it: past years were good
What's not so great: 1099DIV input messing up

What happened to Turbo Tax

I found Turbo Tax to be a lot more difficult than any year in the past. We had a deduction that was subtracted from my State & Local income tax deductions on Sch A. which no one could answer; we finally figured it out ourselves. Could not efile-because it indicated there were updates; when checking for updates was told there were none.
New charges for efiling; never encountered that problem before so we decided to charge to credit card and mail.
And finally, what's the deal on nicknames!!!!!
What's great about it: Transfer of data; calculations
What's not so great: deductions; efiling; hidden charges

Too Old for This

Overall I am satisfied with my Turbo Tax experience. However, I wish there would be a less expensive version for seniors.
What's great about it: Fast, Convenient, Simple to use
What's not so great: Too expensive for a simple tax return like mine

Overall it's a great program - I wouldn't want to do my taxes by hand any more.
Once inputs are made, I have 2 issues.
1. It's hard to find specific questions sometimes (the review doesn't follow the same exact flow as the original run thru).
2. It doesn't maintain all answers. E.G. Which of these apply, and I check "None of the above". Then, on reviewing it, I have to check it again.
Minor issues.

Turbo Tax 2013

If you use this software, you still need to know taxes. It is not a substitute for knowing what they are asking you. The guide you through the process is thorough, but you will still need to understand the questions being asked of you. Also making a back-up copy is more difficult than it should be. I believe that Block has a built in backup feature ( they query you as to if you want to back-up your return). This really needs to be standard.
What's great about it: Less Work
What's not so great: Still need to know Taxes

I like the comparisons provided from past years to this year...helps with confidence in the tax preparation process
What's great about it: Download of financial information
What's not so great: Doing taxes, no matter how easy, is no fun
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
