Great product

I've used TT for 5 years, and I love it. My refunds are much higher than I could have found myself. My only wish is that the review process would offer clearer explanations for what needs to be added or changed.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and complete

Trust TurboTax

First, I think this is an outstanding product. I would suggest on some of the questions, ask a young person if they know what they mean. If they do, great. If they don't, then simplify the question. Basically, explain it to me like I'm a 3 year old. There are still some things that I don't know if they apply to me, but overall, love it.
Now, if only you could force me to update It's Deductible when I actually make the donation. It's the one thing that I spend the most time on every year and I dread it. But I like the fact that a good record is kept. Maybe a friendly text or email every quarter asking, "Have you entered all of your donations thus far?" Maybe that will make me keep up to date in 2014.

2013 Turbo Tax Experience

I had a computer with 6 previous years of TurboTax (XP operating system). The 2013 version would not install, even with the updates on this computer. So I installed TurboTax 2013 on a computer with Windows 7. The 2013 program would not import the previous years .tax files, so I had to reenter all the basic information again into the program, plus I couldn't compare the results with the previous years. Other than that glitch, the program ran fine and was very complete in asking the right questions and easy to follow.
What's great about it: Easy to follow questions and comprehensive
What's not so great: Couldn't load previous years Turbotax files into program

I have used this program for years and will continue to do so. It's easy to use and understand, especially if you understand how tax returns work, outside of once a year prep.
What's great about it: covers all the bases, checks my lousy addition, easy to use
What's not so great: Business expenses are a little confusing

Very smooth process

What's great about it: After having used Turbotax now for several years, I really have all the kinks out.
What's not so great: Some forms I receive from institutions still do not give sufficient info to be sure I am filling in correctly.

Simple to use

This year's turbo tax product has worked out great for us. The only issue I had was the length of time it took to get through all the sections. It did help speed up inputting some of the information by pulling it from our previous years tax return. Can't wait to see how it handles our next year returns as we will be needing to itemize next year now that we own a home.
