Always fast and easy

I kept getting stuck in a loop; just before transmitting returns, TurboTax kept coming back to the California State check and telling me I need to fill in box 24b on Schedule F. I did not fill out Schedule F, and I deleted it several times. Finally, I simply marked the box "No" and the program continued.
What's great about it: Always Fast and Easy
What's not so great: Defect just before transmitting

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years. Best thing I've ever done regarding my taxes! Very easy to do. Consistent format year over year. You can track how your entries impact your taxes. Linked to Its Deductable for easy tracking of charitable contributions. Easy filing....I can go on and on...

Love it!!!

Love this software. I've used it since 2009. It takes a little getting used to, and patience is a must. However, it isn't difficult software to use, and the user interface is very easy. The design of said user interface creates an excellent workflow, from one section to the next.
What's great about it: Very detailed program. Covers all angles. Error checking rocks!
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent software and nothing soft about it. Been doing my taxes for 40 yrs. Been using turbo tax since it first came out. It makes tax time easy and worry free. Like walking through the park on a warm spring day, walks you step by step through every phase of the 1040 a, to help you maximize your return for a very affordable price.
What's great about it: excellent software
What's not so great: none
Pros: I bought or sold investments

difficult to understand where to indicate insurance premium payments.
Unable to handle rebate for Long term health insurance premium. It wanted to treat it as income for onetime job. Same problem in last years software.

Quick and accurate!

I have been a user of Turbo Tax Deluxe since Parson's software became unavailable. Each year, Turbo Tax has done well. Could not have filed nearly as quickly by hand. Able to store all forms and worksheets in PDF format for record keeping without needing previous year's version to open up the tax file.
What's great about it: Transfer of prior year information; ease of use
What's not so great: State help not as robust as federal
Pros: I bought or sold investments
